It has just been over half a year since the release of the iPhone 5 as the rumor of Apple lunching a new Smartphone has started doing the rounds. All thanks to AppleInsider, it is being believed that Apple is getting ready to release its latest product, the iPhone 5S, in the month of June this year.
The report from AppleInsider also reveals that another iPhone model will be released with the iPhone 5S. This iPhone model however, will be made out of plastic and fiberglass and will also be less expensive. But doesn’t it sound very unlikely Apple to release two iPhones within such short time? Isn’t it too early for Apple to create such a big buzz?
This time however, it can be a unique strategy of the company. It must be remembered that Apple’s closest rival Samsung is launching its Galaxy S IV Smartphone during March-April this year. If the rumors are true, this can be a well-planned approach by Apple to up the level of the competition and make things difficult for Samsung.
Therefore, the rumors surrounding Apple iPhone 5S may or may not become a part of reality. If the report of AppleInsider is somehow true, there is a possibility that the iPhone 5S will include a fingerprint scanner. This will offer enhanced security in the use of apps and the Passbook by eliminating the use of usernames and passwords to unlock the device. The device might also have a faster processor, most probably the A7 system-on-chip (SoC). There will also be a new and improved camera with an f/2.0 aperture. This camera will use the Smart Flash technology in order to ensure the photos are of a higher quality.
Now it is just a matter of time when we will get to know whether Apple’s iPhone 5S will follow Samsung’s Galaxy S IV on the heels. To the delight of Smartphone lovers, the rumor might even come true. Who knows?
