On Sunday evening, at a private press meet, Toshiba unveiled the first look of its forthcoming line of Ultra HD 4K TVs. This L9300 series is pioneered by the 84-inch set, but it also has a 58 inch and 65-inch model.
Toshiba’s 4K format offers you four times the pixel resolution compared to the standard 1080p Full-HD TVs. This line will be offering a picture at 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. Its ClearScan 240Hz refresh rate offers smoother fast motion video and the 4K Quad Dual Core Processor improves video’s contrast.
Utilizing its CEVO 4K Quad Dual Core Processor, Toshiba’s 4K series is capable of converting the standard 1080p content to the 4K resolution, without having any artifacts created in the process.
The sturdy processor makes it possible to take the standard 1080p content, and then view that nearly at 4K resolution even when the content was not originally created at that resolution. Toshiba’s Ultra High Definition 4K TVs gain the advantage of the brand’s new Cloud TV platform that was also revealed in the Sunday’s press meet.
